Duplicate Photo Cleaner

This application will help you uncover and remove duplicate photos that do nothing but waste disk space. Tell Duplicate Photo Cleaner where to look and the application will uncover duplicate photos. A list of photos will then be presented to you; you can select the duplicates and remove them. Or if you don’t want to do that, you can move the duplicates.

The system requirements for running Duplicate Photo Cleaner are: 400MHz processor or better, at least 128MB of RAM memory, 5MB of free disk space or more, Windows or Mac OS X operating system. Support is provided for all Windows versions from XP up to 8. A setup wizard will help you install the application on a PC powered by any of these Windows editions. Pay attention though, because the setup wizard will want to install some additional software on your PC.

The panel at the top of the application’s interface lists all the folders that will be scanned. You can add folders to the list by using the Add Folders button or by dragging and dropping the folders on the application’s interface.

Click the green Start button from the bottom right hand corner and Duplicate Photo Cleaner will analyze the folders you select. The scan covers several types of image formats: BMP, JPG, JPEG, PNG, TIF, TIFF, GIF, ICO, PSD, RAW.

Once the scan completes, all the duplicates will be presented on the main panel on the application’s interface. You can view the images presented on the interface using your default image viewing application. You can select some images and move them to the location of your choosing. Or you can select some images and delete them.

You must register your version of Duplicate Photo Cleaner to access all its features.
